Cream:
1 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 1/4 c pumpkin
Add:
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking poweder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 c flour
1/2 c rasins
Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Place on cooling rack.
Icing:
4 Tbl butter
4 Tbl milk
1/2 c Dark brown sugar
Mix and boil 2 minutes, cool slightly and then add
1 cup of powdered sugar and mix well.
While warm, pour over cookies. I recommend leaving cookies on cooling rack and placing wax paper under to catch the drippings.
