Crust
- 1.5 cups flour (whole wheat or white)
- .5 cups cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 3/4 cup of water
- your selection of herbs (I used rosemary & oregano in this crust)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. combine all of the ingredients, knead by hand until it becomes dough and doesnt stick to the sides of the bowl.
Grease a pan and press your dough into your ideal pizza shape.
Bake dough for about 10 minutes - depending on thickness, remove from oven
Pizza
"Sauce"
- 1 small package greek olive/feta mixture, from deli, drained
- 1 small jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
- 10-15 yellow pepper rings
- 1/2 cup roasted peppers & onions (I used pre-roasted in the jar)
Chop in food processor, spread over partially-cooked crust.
Slice provolone cheese and lay over sauce.
Slice tomato and arrange over provolone.
Sprinkle with a light dusting of mozzarella.
Cook 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is browned.
